As I finish my first term on the Pleasanton City Council, I reflect on how I have been listening to YOU to continue making Pleasanton a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I keep the best interests of the community in mind when making decisions. My priorities are addressing our water issues, smart growth (pushing back against state mandates and doing what I can to lessen the impacts to neighborhoods), public safety, and good schools.

I've been a resident of Plesanton for 31 years. Married for nearly 38 years, I have three children ranging in age from 24-32 who all graduated from Pleasanton schools.

I have a B.S. degree in Health Science from Cal State Northridge and I have a M.B.A. degree from Cal Lutheran University.

Previous to my council role, I served on the Pleasanton School Board for 12 years and I served on the Pleasanton Library Commission for 8 years. Previously working for and being on the Boards of non-profits, I currently work as a staff representative for Alameda County Supervisor, Nate Miley.
